In Collaboration with Beingmate Company, Siera Leone Cultural Ambassador, Mariatu Kargbo donates over 24,000 tins of Powdered Milk to Lactating Mothers in Sierra Leone
According to representatives of Beingmate Company, Sierra Leone is the very first country in Africa to have benefited from such a gesture as they have only been sending in their products only to Asia and Europe.
Manager of Being Mate Baby and Child Company, Frank Wang whiles handing over the donation said their being in Sierra Leone at this time is a blessing which reflects their commitments to babies in the country as they continue to work in providing quality
The donation was facilitated by Mariatu Kargbo, a Sierra Leonean celebrity based in China, in collaboration with the First Lady’s Office and the Sierra Leone Embassy in China.
Madam Mariatu Kargbo, whilst speaking, thanked all those who in diverse ways supported the donation process, eventually making it possible, specifically highlighting the role played by the First Lady, Madam Sia Nyama Koroma and Madam Kumba Momoh, amongst others.
The donation, Madam Kargbo said is demonstrative of the long standing ties of friendship and goodwill between the two countries
